Google's Chrome leaves beta

This week Google's Chrome browser left its beta status. It's one of the shortest beta periods for any Google product. More important though, it's a big step towards getting Chrome adopted by business users and pre-installed on new PCs. The update to 1.0 isn't just a name change. There are new features too, such as an improved bookmark manager and simpler ways to manage online privacy. To get the update, just fire up your Chrome browser and it will do the rest.

Just in case no one knows about these yet, I had grabbed the
following: http://identi.ca/ubuntu, http://identi.ca/ubuntunews, and
http://identi.ca/ubuntudevelopers. ubuntunews has the Fridge and
security updates. Jorge Castro has set up ubuntudevelopers for UDS and
MOTU related broadcasts. http://identi.ca/ubuntu is currently unused.

The following have also been set up to follow tracks at UDS:
http://identi.ca/udscommunity, http://identi.ca/udskernel,
http://identi.ca/udsqa, http://identi.ca/udsfoundations,
http://identi.ca/udsmobile, http://identi.ca/udsdesktop, and
http://identi.ca/udsserver.
