Re: [Fwd: Ask Fedora : Linux package management]

Greetings Paneer!

I am not sure where you are studying. Could you give us a bit more
information so we can direct you to the right person? We can find some
Fedora Ambassadors, hopefully in your country, and one of these folks
might be a good start. A listing of Fedora Ambassadors is at:

http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Ambassadors/CountryList

Please let us know if this response suggests any further questions, and
we'll be sure to try to help!

Warm regards,

- pascal

Wow, that's pretty organized. So - I just write up the content,
following the style guides, at the place linked from
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FWN/Beats , to be ready by Sunday evening,
and update Beats when it's done? That's great. Good system.

It's 'adamwill' ('adamw' and 'adamwill' are my normal aliases, but I
don't have them for redhat.com yet). I'll fix the page.

No, QualityAssurance sounds fine. I will try and get started for this
week's issue, then. Thanks a bunch!

Hi Adam,

That would be awesome. We're sorely lacking that information and it
would be very helpful to have someone with your knowledge to point out
what's going on.

Here's a description of our basic workflow:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FWN/WorkFlow

I've added your name to a new beat in the table but am unsure of your
FAS username: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FWN/Beats#Beats_Sections

If you want to title it something other than QualityAssurance then go
ahead. Ditto with changing the stub:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FWN/Beats/QualityAssurance

In short: welcome!
Best wishes

Hi there - interest in QA group news?

Hi, folks. I'm Adam Williamson. I was recently hired by Red Hat to work
on driving increased community participation in QA activities.

One thing I'd like to do is spread the word more effectively about
things QA actually does, and I think FWN might be a good vehicle for
that. Would there be any interest in me writing a short section for FWN
each week to sum up any interesting news from the QA group? Thanks!
