Gmail goes offline (in a good way)

	Google's Gmail offers offline option It's been a long time coming, but Google's Gmail now finally allows its users to view, compose, and search through mail when away from an active Internet connection. It only works on a couple of browsers, and will only download a portion of your Web mail in-box, but it's a huge step forward in bringing Web apps closer to some of the functionality we're used to in desktop software.
